  • is your detectors made in china or u.s.a. and thet suitable for aussie conditions i mean we have highly mineralized soils so are tough enough to handle it also are automatic ground balanced.

    Hi,

    Different brands are made in different countries and all models handle ground conditions differently depending on their usage. 

    Minelab are an Australian brand and are manufactured in a state of the art factory in Malaysia. Their Vanquish range are true multi frequency detectors that ground balance as you go. Being a multi frequency detector they can handle pretty much any type of terrain. 

    Teknetics and Bounty Hunter are made by the same company and are entirely made in the USA. Many of their models have a Ground Grab balancing system which is what some manufacturers call auto ground balancing. By holding down the Ground Grab button, you pump the coil up and down a few times until the detector has ground balanced. It's very quick and easy. 

    Quest are an American brand with a high tech manufacturing facility in China. Their detectors are very user friendly and are turn on and go detectors.  Some models like the Pro, Q30+ and Q60 are waterproof to 5m. Again these detectors have a ground grab style of ground balancing, making them quick amd easy to balance.
